Roanna and Kira Puppy Adventures!
Please Note: These puppies are our training camp puppies which means they have families who have enrolled them in our puppy camps and they stay with us for training. Two are our puppies we have kept back for program. I post their entries so families can see their pictures and hear about their adventures. I’ve had several requests for these wonderful puppies, they are not available. Our Isis and Melina puppies still have openings! :)

The Roanna and Kira puppies that are left are having a great time on all the field trips we have been going on. Sunday we went to Allyn Park, which I love taking the dogs too. It has this really big dock, a beach, a park, and an enclosed play area! It has this huge covered gazebo and is very popular for weddings. It is a wonderful park!

Here is a little blurbage on it:

The Dock is huge and is such a unique experience that I love taking the puppies there. There were tons of Seagulls and they were perched on the edge of the dock. The puppies were quite fascinated with them. They let us get fairly close before a few would fly up, then most would land right away. Finally Mindy couldn’t take it anymore and raced down the dock and they all flew off!

The dock has a lower landing which you go down the ramp to. We usually have one puppy who is not very excited about that ramp as it has a big metal grate down the middle and the whole thing shifts and moves with the water. It floats up and down so how low the tide is will determine how steep it is. Tide was very low so it was pretty steep. Misty decided she didn’t like the ramp at all! The other puppies were not phased by it but they weren’t so sure when we got to the lower docks and water was being splashed up the sides. It was pretty windy so the dock was shifting and moving and the waves were crashing over the sides. You can see from Chester here, he wasn’t so sure of his balance right away!

But soon they were running up and down the dock, sniffing over the sides, and getting splashed with the water!

After we were done playing on the docks we went to the beach and explored all the wonderful smells that were to be found, the puppies did … I just kept a close eye on the mushy spots since the tide was so low and we were into some very squishy areas closer to the water.

After we visited the beach we went up to the nice clean grassy areas! Since no one was playing in the kid area we also played in there and let the puppies run around and explore. I had taken so many pictures I didn’t have any space left on my camera to take pictures in the play area. My daughter takes the puppies down the slide and they chase her feet when she swings from the Monkey Bars. Someone left a baseball cap and that was the toy of choice for some Keep-Away Games.

Their busy adventures didn’t end with their Beach trip on Sunday but they also have been going with my daughter and I to 4H Classes on Mondays. This Monday was at another lady’s house who has horses and llamas! Oh boy did they have an eye full when they saw those new big strange dogs who made strange barks! Lots of wonderful smells especially as they get to practice in the outdoor horse arena! Our little Caramella did her usual escape and climbed out the partially closed window, I should say squeezed out as we all stood there and watched the squeezing, smooshing, wiggle routine out the window. She is just too funny! We caught her and plopped her back in the car to wait her turn and rolled the windows up a bit more!

Yesterday they went with me to pick up my daughter at the gym where they each get a turn to go in and visit and walk around the gym. Everyone loves the puppies when they come visit! We also grabbed dinner at Jack in the Box and they love going through the drive-thru!

Today’s big adventure was the tow truck coming down the driveway to pick up an old car my son with his newly earned driver’s license is hoping can be resurrected. Poor Missy Caramella had to miss out on that adventure as I didn’t trust her to not jump the puppy gate and escape! The other puppies watched from the puppy yard and the bigger Doodles all crowded at the windows so they could see!

Lots of puppy adventures!
