Puppy Water Play!
This weekend and really heading into this week has been some really great summer weather! Since it was so nice I set up one of the wading pools with some water for the puppies to play in. I let it warm up in the sun and then tossed in some toys!
At first they all just lined up around the edge of the pool and looked in. Melina’s L Green Boy was the first to venture in though he jumped right back out after he did go in!

Melina’s Orange Boy was the next to venture in and he stayed in and explored around.

We have been giving the puppies ice cubes to play with so we tossed in a bowl full of ice cubes and that generated more interest on the puppies’ part and more started to venture in. After that we gave it some help and plopped several puppies in!

This set of pictures has my favorite picture! When the puppies would first get in, they would first lift one foot up high then decide they needed another foot lifted higher. My daughter was lamenting she didn’t have her camera so she could do video as it was pretty funny watching them try to walk but keep their paws up out of the water. Here is Mr. Green Boy doing that, I loved the middle picture with the drool of water in it!

Here are some more pictures. I took tons, probably too many!

I had to laugh at my daughter who kept squealing that the puppies were getting her wet and hopped up on the stool to escape! Missy Purple Girl hopped out and ran into the tunnel, isn’t she just adorable wet!
