Puppy Yard Adventure and some Extras!
Tuesday I took the puppies out for their last adventure for a little while as they were scheduled for their spay and neuters. Isis puppies went today and did great! The hardest part Is keeping them quiet as they come home like nothing has happened. Tonight they were running around, playing, and wrestling around like they always do! For the next week we try and keep things quiet and stress free for their recovery even though they don’t act like it, they still have their tiny little stitches in.

Back to Tuesday, I took them out to our front puppy yard. Our new puppy yard is still under construction. I like to introduce the idea of a few stairs. They all stood at the top and were not sure about venturing down. I sat on the steps and slowly showed them how to go down, a few followed suit on their own, and soon all were down exploring their new area!

Mindy watched the fun and then hopped over the x-pen that I had put up in the front door. The puppies loved having her come and play and tugged on her bandana! I brought Uncle Bram in, who always loves the puppies and is very gentle to them even when they try and see if they can nurse on him! Oops no girl parts!

They discovered digging and soon had this nice hole dug! I filled it back in and they raced off to explore something else. They had a great time racing all around! In fact they ignored all the toys I tossed out for them to play with! I guess they were just too mundane!

I took a number of pictures which many of them came out so I downloaded them to another site so they can be viewed as a slide show.

My daughter has been having fun with making some videos for U-Tube. This one is one she made of her and Mindy competing at Agility. Some is at an Agility NADAC Meet and some are at our house on our course. Chaz is in there too! He has competed NADAC Agility as well, though he isn’t as good as Mindy!

This is one my daughter did of Flyball. She doesn’t compete at it as we don’t have a club close enough and you usually compete in teams, the Seattle Club would love to have her! She loves to practice it and Mindy just loves it too! She is going to be giving a Fly Ball Demo at the Country Fair for 4H. Here is a blurbage on it if you are not familiar with Fly Ball http://flyballdogs.com/FAQ.html It is fairly simple, a set of 4 jumps and a spring box at the end that holds a tennis ball. The dogs race to the box over the jumps, pop the ball out by hitting the box, races back across the jumps. It is usually a relay race of 4 dogs. It can be very competitive with some very fast dogs! It is a fast growing dog sport!

A Mom Brag! This is my daughter at her Regional Trampoline and Tumbling Meet. I think she has a couple of other clips from the State Meet. She is a Level 8 Trampolinist and I think Level 7 for her Tumbling. This was a tough year for her as the Tramp Organization moved two skills down from Level 9 to Level 8 and she wasn’t prepared for them. Last year, Level 7, she was the State and Regional Champion!
